Kaori Konuta is a Japanese artist who was born in 1994. She currently studies art at Taylor School of Art at Temple University Japan.

Growing up, she always found her desk overflowing with her random ideas, pictures, crafts, and writings, though never knew what to create out of them. In summer 2017, she was enrolled in a computer imaging class where she learned to merge different ideas into one project, and created her first book called, "The Red Whale." In this book, she tells a story of being a Japanese teenager through texts, drawings, and photography.

Since this book, she has been working on consolidating her own style, as well as finding new ways to push the boundaries.
